Dayton 5VX800 Cogged V-Belt
5VX section V-belts have a wedge, cogged design and a nominal top width of 5/8" and a nominal thickness of 17/32". Wedge V-belts have a smaller top width and a deeper profile than classical V-belts, transferring higher power. Cogged V-belts run cooler due to cogs allowing bending against pulleys, dissipating heat, and are useful for small diameter pulleys and drives with twists.
