Description: The EMERGENCY LIGHT CONTROL RELAY (ELCR) Z10 is a Remote Mounted Emergency lighting shunt device. It is designed to
allow switching of designated 0-10 volt dimming emergency lighting
fixtures. The ELCR - Z10 contains digital circuitry to safely bypass
and shunt switches and relays, forcing light fixtures full on, in the
event of a power failure thus providing the emergency lighting pow-
er access to alternate power systems such as generators and cen-
tral inverters.
Features: Unit is designed to override switches and dimming levels to force
emergency lighting on full bright in case of normal utility power fail-
ure per UL 924 requirements.
Unit recess mounts into the ceiling using a standard 4 11/16” square
junction box (not included) and standard 2 gang plaster ring.
Unit Housing and faceplate are metal.
Faceplate is white and the unit is mounted to 1” plaster ring with 4
included screws.
Specifications:
- Sense input: 120V AC or 277v AC with less than 20 ma current draw.
- Room switch input: 120V AC or 277v AC with less than 10 ma current draw.
- Emergency power input: 120V AC or 277v AC
- Output voltage: Same voltage as the emergency power input.
- Load ratings are as follows: 20 AMPS (NEVER LOAD BREAKER ABOVE 16 AMPS)
- Load Ratings - Auxiliary Relay: 30 volts DC, 6 amps max Normally open relay
