Tsubaki CR5016-J Chain Coupling
Chain couplings are 2 sprockets with a length of duplex chain wrapped around them. In practice Tsubaki chain couplings have specially shaped and induction hardened teeth. Covers are optionally available to retain lubricant (NLGI 1 or 2 grease) at higher speeds, for corrosion or abrasion protection and for safety. Die cast or aluminium split casings clamp to the hub at one end and have a seal at the other end to maintain flexibility.
