The serial output version along with the software has the ability to measure glass thickness by calcualting the distance from 1st surface of glass to the bottom surface
RS-422 version provides digital output of measurement data over serial communications. There is a basic software application for communicating with the sensor via PC. The serial version can also be connected directly to the Melsec-Q series PLC when using the UQ1 controller. This controller provides an automatic and simple interface to the PLC. The best solution for measurement applications when using Mitsubishi Q series PLC.
Ideal for mounting on robotic cylinder thanks to compact dimensions and light weight. IP67 water tightness is also secured.
